Tracking, Analytics & Reporting

Increase your conversion rate by focusing on what’s working and what isn’t.

A good system of tracking, reporting and analytics will highlight top performing areas and expose areas that need attention. At Bastion Internet, we’ll develop a system that’s right for you.

First we’ll ensure that the proper tracking exists to find out what’s working and what isn’t from the time the User enters the site to the time they leave.

Next, we’ll analyze the traffic and make judgments and recommendations to improve conversions.  Finally, we’ll report all of it to you so you’ll know exactly what’s going on.

Tracking: It starts by knowing exactly where your web traffic is coming from.  It may be from natural search (e.g. SEO), Pay Per Click campaigns (PPC), Email campaigns, other online advertising and linking, traditional advertising, or a multitude of other places.

It continues by being able to view how the User navigates through your site.  Are there common exit points; which pages tend to push them toward conversion and which tend to lead them away.

Finally, it ends with determining who is converting and who is leaving before conversion.  And all this needs to be seen in a variety of ways such as by individual User or by groups of users (including entry method, day, time of day, etc.).

Analytics: Once the tracking data is captured, we can analyze what is working on the site and what isn’t. Equally important, we can analyze what traffic-driving strategies are working (e.g. various Pay Per Click phrases/terms), and their cost-effectiveness.

Analytics can work for eCommerce sites, business to business, business to consumer, blogs, and more.

Bastion makes recommendations for changes and optionally implements those changes through conversion tune-ups, landing page adjustments, PPC campaign management, and more.

Reporting: We meet with our clients on a regular basis to discuss what is happening with their Internet strategy based on what the analytics is telling us.  We present ongoing recommendations and assist in setting future direction.  Each client’s needs are a little different so we tailor our reporting to what’s important to your account.
