We look at your planned custom application and go through a thorough process of scoping out the job and building a functional Statement of Work. This process solidifies your ideas and how they’ll translate into a web-based application.
From there, you can choose to have us complete the programming and integrate the application into your website or you can go out to bid using the completed Statement of Work. Bastion develops in a number of languages using a variety of databases including open source (e.g. PHP, MySQL) and Microsoft based (e.g ASP, .NET, MS-SQL).

First Step – Free Consultation: A free, initial consultation sets the stage. Here, we can quickly determine if we would be a good potential development partner. We’ll get an idea of what you are looking for and your budget range. We’ll also be able to give you an order of magnitude cost estimate of what the job is ultimately likely to cost.
Consulting: Once you decide to move forward with your project, our consulting process will take you through the steps necessary to define the scope of your custom application. You’ll be able to make decisions on where to start, whether to take a phased approach, and what functionality you’ll want to launch with.
Statement of Work: Together, we’ll develop a Visual Statement of Work (V-SOW). The V-SOW will detail out the specifics of how the application will work and the functionality behind each process and component within the application. The completed Visual Statement of Work will include a Bastion quote to have us build out the project and will also be sufficient to allow you to submit it to other development firms for competitive bids, should you wish.
Programming, Development, Integration: We’ll program your application to its specifications. We’ll integrate it into your website with appropriate design and navigation. We’ll test it, launch it, and support it on an ongoing basis.
